Graham Investment Projects, in partnership with Homes for Students, is preparing an application seeking full planning permission to transform the former Wellington Park Hotel site into a high-quality, circa 580-bed purpose-built managed student accommodation at the heart of Queen’s University Belfast. The scheme will deliver much-needed homes for students alongside new amenities and public realm for new and existing residents to enjoy. 

The Botanic Inn will continue to exist as part of the wider redevelopment, and although the proposals remain conceptual at this stage, “The Bot” is set to be re imagined and modernised with vibrant amenity and recreation space to reflect changing social habits. 

Before finalising and submitting this planning application to Belfast City Council, the project team invited the community to comment on the plans, which concluded on Friday 10th July.
